ABOUT HERMAN AGUIRRE https://www.hermanaguirre.org/
Herman Aguirre is a Mexican American artist born and raised in Chicago, IL. were he continues to live and work. He received his BFA (2014) and MFA (2017) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He currently teaches in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He was one of eight individuals to be awarded the Leonore Annenberg Fellowship For Performing and Visual Arts (2017). He is represented by Zolla/Lieberman Gallery (CHI) and Portrait Society Gallery (WI), while continuing to exhibit in various galleries, museums, and art fairs throughout the United States.

La Lunita transforms into a house party every 3rd Saturday night of the month with Vino & Vinyl, a soul-soaked celebration of R&B and House strictly on vinyl. Curated by Silk Chicago, this intimate vinyl night starts cozy and classy—and ends with the whole room on its feet.
Let the wine flow and the music build as DJs J.Stereo, Twelve Gage, Cut Cuz, and Pete Fade take you from laid-back grooves to high-energy dance cuts. By midnight, the dance floor is full, the vibes are contagious, and every glass is raised.
